A Name isn't JUST a Name

All mothers must go through the endless lists of baby names until they find the perfect fit. At 31 weeks I still have not found it. I've gone from Googles most popular, to unique, to switching years all the way back to the 50's and nothing. Maybe I have not found it yet, or maybe I have and just don't know I have. i want something feminine, something with substance, something i can take a nickname out of, something girly and pretty! Is that too much to ask for? So Lord in front of all my fellow bloggers, I am asking for some help, guidance and direction. The perfect name is out there I just have to find it!

If you know of a baby girl name, which fits all of the above, please let me know... my time is running out!

  1. Naming a human being has to be an incredibly difficult decision. I mean, really - it has to stand the test of time in a real way.

Ive always been partial to Grace and Catherine but those are hardly anything new.

PS: Thanks for the sweet comment you left on my blog. I hope you stick around :)

  2. Hi Jenna,
Oh how fun to pick out a gorgeous baby girl name for your future daughter!

My neighbors new daughter is named
"Anna Elizabeth" and I love both names together. I always have adored the elegant and timeless classics.

Good Luck! I can't wait to hear all about her.

Cara Bella (both names mean beautiful)
    Angel

Ive always tended to like different names...we named our son Rocky :)

Best of luck in finding the right one for your child. I'll be looking forward to reading what you decided on. Thank you for swinging by and for becoming a follower. I've entered you in the basket give away.. Good luck.. hugs ~lynne~

  5. I don't know what I could possibly add to your list of names. We have a wonderful daughter, named Amy. She wishes, however, that we had named her "Amelia". I also like the name, "Marcella", "Claire" and "Summer". It is so nice to meet you, btw; and I thank you for signing up for my blog. I look so forward to following your progress! Beautiful Blog!

  6. We had an easy time naming our first daughter, Isabella Sheridan (her middle name is a family name on my husband's side) but I was conviced my second child was a boy so I wasn't prepared when a girl arrived....we named her Addison, sometimes I wish we'd chosen a more "girly" name that also wasn't "trendy" but I now love her name and it really suits her. Hope you find just the right one for your daughter.
PS: thanks for joining my blog... and I LOVE your blog title and colors!!

  7. Jenna, I've enjoyed reading your Blog and while this might be too late (baby might be here and named) I thought I would chime in with my own suggestion....Sara Elizabeth. Of course it is one of my daughter's names and I love it. The name Sara/Sarah (with or without the h) means Princess and Elizabeth means consecrated one.
Hope all is well with you!

  8. I love unique names. All 4 of our kiddos have 2 middle names. I only have 1 girl and we named her Gabraelle (pronounced Gab-Ray-el) but we call her Gabby. I also like Isabella (Izzy) or Madison (Maddy.
