After working hard for so many years, my Dad has finally retired! We are all so proud of him. No need to wake up early for work anymore. Now it's time to sleep late and enjoy life. My dad is a Dad of 4, and Grandfather of 10, so it seems he's going to be pretty busy, building this, climbing that, running here and going there. My parents deserve this new lease on life. These days should be about getting closer, picnics in the park, and walks at the beach. They were HS sweethearts and have been married for 38 years. Dad I love you and cant wait to hear about all the places you'll visit, and cant wait to see all the pictures you'll take! I Love you and appreciate you!!! GOD Bless You!

Hi, Jenna!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to make sure you knew I answered your homeschool questions on my blog. I answered in the comments so other people could see too.
That's exciting for your dad! My hubby and I were HS sweethearts also and will be married 25 years in June.
Blessings,
Kayren
Congratulations to your dad...for his retirement and their long marriage!
ReplyDeleteStay Cozy, Carrie
congrats--I hope they have many happy years to enjoy --work free--
ReplyDeleteI want to let you know that I have a BIG give-a-way starting on Sunday and it will be really fun. I am calling it SPREADING THE LOVE--cuz I love my FOLLOWERS. There are lots of gifts, from really cool vendors. Each week there will be SEVERAL winners--that is right it will be going on all month long. So you can come back each week and leave me a comment, to put your name in.
You don't have to have a blog--you can e-mail me to enter your name.
Followers get their name in once and if you have my button on your side bar your name will go in 5 more times.
If you can double check your READER to see if you are getting my posts I would really appreciate it--for some reason Google has picked on me since the start of my blog and I always end up having them not post every few weeks.
XO
Cheri

ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! Now there will be more time for family. Some times you think you will have so much more time on your hands but life can be very busy and then you look back and wonder how you did it all and worked too! I'm sure he will have lots to busy himself with.
ReplyDeleteI think I get more done working but would love to be able to stay home :o)
